Job Description:

An ambitious and fast-growing national firm is seeking to appoint an Employment Partner in Birmingham. This is a key role within a well-established team that continues to expand, offering high-quality work, long-term stability and the support of a firm known for its low staff turnover and people-focused culture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advising employers on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues
  • Managing matters such as dismissals, grievances, discrimination claims, TUPE, contracts and policies
  • Providing employment law input on corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions and restructurings
  • Building and developing strong, long-term client relationships, supported by a national network of colleagues and referrers
  • Playing a senior role in the Birmingham office and supporting the development of junior lawyers

Requirements:

  • An experienced employment lawyer, currently at Partner or Legal Director level
  • A strong reputation in the Birmingham market with a demonstrable client following
  • Confident across both tribunal work and advisory mandates
  • Commercially astute, client-focused and collaborative
  • Ambition to play a central part in the team’s future growth and success
