Job Description:

A Top 100 National Law Firm is expanding into Birmingham and seeks a senior Employment Partner to establish and develop the Employment Law function. The role focuses on respondent work in public and third sectors, backed by a national team with strong sector reputation. This strategic appointment offers growth opportunities and leadership potential for shaping a new regional office.

Job Responsibility:

Leading on complex respondent-side employment matters, particularly for public sector clients
Supporting wider teams with employment law input on corporate and commercial projects
Building and managing a local team over time
Driving business development in the West Midlands, both with existing contacts and through your own network

Requirements:

A solid background in respondent employment work
A portable client following and/or a strong business development track record
The ambition to help shape and lead a growing team in a new regional office
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
