Job Description:

An AmLaw firm with almost 200 attorneys - based here in San Diego - is seeking an employment law attorney, who will be responsible for a mix of litigation and counseling.

Job Responsibility:

Mix of litigation and counseling
Legal research, writing, and analysis

Requirements:

Possession of a J.D. degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm (litigation) and additional experience in a corporate legal department is a plus
Demonstrated expertise in California Labor Law, particularly wage & hour
Ability to commute into Del Mar Heights or Downtown San Diego 3x/week at minimum

Nice to have:

Exposure to areas such as unlawful terminations and LOA accommodations
Knowledge of how to craft employee handbooks, policies, and procedures for companies
