Job Description:

As an Employment Facilitator, you will work alongside people with diverse needs to help them become work ready. This is a rewarding role where every day is different.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to participants
  • Facilitate small group sessions focused on building skills for employment
  • Teach practical skills and confidence to support people in their journey to work
  • Build strong, positive relationships with participants, employers, and the wider community

Requirements:

  • Empathy, patience, and understanding of people with diverse abilities
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
  • Flexibility to meet individual needs (role is primarily Monday–Friday)
  • A full, clean driver’s licence
  • First Aid Qualification (Or be willing to complete one at our cost)
  • Strong knowledge of the Waihōpai / Southland community, networks, and services
  • Experience in facilitation or community support (training will be provided for the right person)
