We are looking for an experienced Employment Counsel to support our corporate client on a long-term contract basis. Job Responsibility:
Provide advice and guidance on employment law matters, with a primary focus on leaves and accommodations
Collaborate closely with employee relations teams to address complex workplace issues
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to employment matters
Stay updated on changes in employment law and proactively advise on necessary adjustments
Contribute to the overall development of employee relations strategies and practices
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in good standing
Demonstrated expertise in employment law, particularly employer-focused matters
Strong knowledge of legal requirements related to leaves and accommodations
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal professionals effectively
Proven experience in advising on employee relations issues and minimizing legal risks
