ASML US is seeking a strategic, business oriented Employment Counsel to join its US Legal and Compliance team and serve as a key leader overseeing employment law matters across the full employee lifecycle, litigation and dispute resolution, workplace investigations, compliance training and policy development, and workplace violence prevention and threat management.
Job Responsibility:
Provide strategic, pragmatic advice on all stages of the employee lifecycle
Oversee and manage outside counsel on employment-related disputes
Develop and deliver training programs, draft and update employment policies
Lead or oversee audits and internal investigations
Advise workplace response/threat assessment team
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to the bar and in good standing
10+ years of legal experience practicing employment law
In house experience required
Exceptional relationship building, active listening, and empathy skills
Ability to quickly learn the business and apply legal knowledge in a practical manner
Ability to translate legal complexity into clear, business aligned solutions
Demonstrated ability to work independently while building trust and influence
Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and openness to new ideas
