Job Description:

We are looking for an Employment Counsel to join our Legal team. This role will support our People & Culture function in ensuring compliance with labour and employment regulations across Job&Talent’s markets. You will play a key role in advising on HR policies, collective agreements, and regulatory matters, contributing to scalable solutions that balance compliance with business needs.

Job Responsibility:

Advise on HR programs, policies, and practices to ensure global and local compliance with labor and employment laws
Monitor regulatory changes, updating policies and processes to align with evolving requirements
Oversee HR-related contracts, collective agreements, and labor regulation application across regions
Partner with People & Culture to design scalable, compliant policies that support business objectives

Requirements:

Qualified lawyer with a Law degree
4–6 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in a major law firm (labour/employment practice) and 2–3 years in an international in-house legal department
Solid knowledge of labour and employment law, with proven experience advising on HR policies, collective agreements, contracts, and compliance matters
Demonstrated ability to monitor and interpret regulatory changes and translate them into practical updates for policies and processes
Strong business orientation with the ability to partner effectively with People & Culture teams and design scalable, compliant solutions
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
able to interact with stakeholders at all levels
Proactive self-starter with high motivation, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage both day-to-day issues and long-term strategic projects

Nice to have:

Experience in the Tech sector or commercial law is a plus
Other languages (ES, IT, PT, FR, DE)
