Job Responsibility:

  • Empower jobseekers by developing tailored, realistic career strategies
  • Deliver career counselling, interview coaching, and job readiness programs
  • Create professional resumes and cover letters
  • Report to key stakeholders on progress and outcomes
  • Proactively connect with local businesses and employers to facilitate work placements
  • Build and maintain a network of host employers and community organisations
  • Facilitate access to vocational training opportunities
  • Independently manage a caseload of jobseekers with professionalism and empathy

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar role (e.g., Employment Consultant, Case Manager, or Career Advisor)
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to empower and motivate jobseekers
  • Proven ability to build relationships with employers and community organisations
  • Understanding of employer needs and local labour markets
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and self-motivation to manage caseloads
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills to address barriers to employment
  • A full driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
  • A positive, resilient mindset—and a good sense of humour!
