Employment Coach

• Deliver tailored, hands-on support to a small group of participants, ensuring a highly consultative and responsive approach to individual needs
• Provide mentorship that fosters personal growth, encourages skill development, and enhances participants’ capacity for meaningful employment
• Offer person-centred assistance to individuals transitioning from school to work, supporting their journey with empathy and strategic guidance
• Facilitate workplace integration by providing on-site support once employment commences, helping participants adjust and thrive in their roles
• Collaborate with employers to offer consultation and support, promoting inclusive practices and sustainable employment outcomes
• Design and implement personalized learning strategies that scaffold each student’s transition from school to further education, training, or employment
• Advise students on meaningful post-school pathways, helping them build functional and fulfilling lives aligned with their strengths and aspirations
• Engage directly with students through school-based sessions, while also offering services within community settings and APM offices
• Conduct dynamic workshops covering topics such as employer networking, personal development, skill building, social-emotional learning, and career planning

• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Current driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
• Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Commitment to completing the NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
• Flexibility to travel as required to support service delivery and participant engagement
• Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
