A leading midsize Portland firm is seeking a litigator to join their team that is experienced in complex commercial litigation and also advising on employment matters to their top clients. Job Responsibility:

Advise clients on employment law matters and risk management
Manage and participate in complex business litigation cases from inception through trial
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and motion work
Participate in strategy sessions and trial preparation with partners and teams
Engage in direct client contact and support

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active admission to practice law in Oregon
At least 5 years of experience in complex litigation and employment law matters
Exceptional legal research and writing skills
Ability to manage and support multiple cases and teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Provide support to advocates in other units as needed
Regular travel to CLA’s offices across central and western Massachusetts to support and build relationships with staff in person
