This established trial practice represents individuals in significant employment disputes and complex civil litigation matters. The Employment Attorney will play a key role handling employment litigation matters from case evaluation through resolution or trial. Job Responsibility:
Manage plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from intake through trial
Conduct depositions, including plaintiff, defendant, and key witness examinations
Draft and argue motions including dispositive motions and motions for summary judgment
Develop litigation strategy and oversee discovery, including written discovery and document production
Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel regarding case developments
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff on assigned matters
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
Requirements:
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
2–9 years of employment law experience
Experience conducting numerous depositions in employment litigation matters
