Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Employment Attorney to join a congenial boutique law firm. Job Responsibility:

Manage all aspects of PAGA litigation, including case evaluation, discovery processes, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court
Provide legal counsel to clients regarding California labor and employment laws
Collaborate effectively with partners and associates to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-structured motions and briefs
Oversee case management tasks to ensure timely and efficient handling of litigation
Develop strategies for class action and employment-related litigation cases
Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation efforts
Maintain compliance with legal standards and regulations while representing clients' interests

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active California Bar admission in good standing
At least three years of experience handling PAGA litigation and related employment cases
Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and conducting discovery processes
Strong knowledge of California labor and employment laws
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Experience in civil litigation and class action lawsuits
Strong organizational and analytical skills for case strategy development
