Job Responsibility
Advise employer clients on a broad range of employment law issues, balancing legal risk with practical business objectives
Prepare persuasive motions, legal memoranda, and other court filings that support case strategy and client goals
Manage written discovery, document review, and fact development to move matters forward effectively
Support employment litigation from early assessment through resolution, including case analysis, briefing, and coordination with clients
Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative professionals in a highly collaborative remote practice environment
Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments, recommended approaches, and potential outcomes
Contribute to efficient dispute resolution efforts while remaining ready to pursue litigation aggressively when circumstances require
Maintain organized case handling and timely work product in alignment with the firm’s quality standards and client service expectations
Requirements
Active license to practice law in the state they live
At least 3 years of experience handling employment law matters on behalf of employers
Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
Practical experience managing discovery and supporting employment litigation matters
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clear legal analysis
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while contributing effectively to a team-based practice
Sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and a client-focused approach to legal service
