Job Description

The position of ERISA Advisory/Defined Contribution Retirement Consultant is to increase sales of Allianz Employer Markets in-plan annuity products within the respective named territory. Selling Allianz's Lifetime Income + product will be effected through direct contact (in person, phone and video conferencing) with Independent ERISA Advisory financial advisors. This will be further accomplished by building relationships with Independent ERISA Advisors, "non-producing" Allianz financial advisors, Asset Management and other strategic selling partners to distribute our products. The individual will work with business partners including Internal Retirement Consultants, Sales Supervision, and Sales Enablement. Additionally, the candidate maintains a well-honed and current DCIO knowledge base and experience in the retirement plan investment business, along with best practices and established sales tools, to meet DCIO sales goals.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience of ERISA Advisory/Defined Contribution Investment Only experience required
  • Proven sales ability and results

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent work experience
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63 and Life Insurance licenses required
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Ability to manage extensive travel (up to 50% of time will be traveling within the territory)
