Travelwise is Flight Centre Travel Group's (FCTG) in-house travel team, dedicated to offering our people exclusive industry deals on everything travel-related: airfares, hotels, tours, cruises, travel insurance, sightseeing attractions and so much more! Based in the "Southpoint" head office in South Bank, QLD, this is an exciting role that requires a dynamic individual with a passion for creating amazing travel experiences for FCTG staff, their families and friends. Along with solid product knowledge, you need to be the "expert's expert," requiring exceptional customer service and problem-solving attributes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Customer service – manage booking enquiries via email, phone and in-person
  • Providing expert travel advice
  • Promoting the Travelwise staff benefit
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Attending product training, information sessions and supplier events
  • High level attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months retail travel industry experience
  • Strong GDS and travel booking systems (Sabre and HELiO preferred) experience
  • Solid product knowledge
  • Ability to handle high volume of enquiry and manage multiple enquiries at any given time
  • Exceptional communication skills – utilising a wide range of channels
  • Self-driven and demonstrates strong collaboration skills
  • Experience adhering to customer service level agreements
