The Employee Relations team plays a vital role in shaping a positive and consistent employee experience across The Company. We partner with employees and leaders during pivotal moments in the employment lifecycle, fostering a workplace that reflects company's values of equity, inclusion, and respect. Reporting to a Senior Manager, Employee Relations, this temporary specialist role supports multiple business segments, including Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Entertainment & Product & Technology. The role is specifically focused on assisting with requests for reasonable accommodations and workplace modifications related to disability, religion, and other qualifying circumstances. In addition, this position will support data analysis and reporting activities by ensuring effective tracking and maintenance of Employee Relations information, including investigation, accommodation and other confidential/sensitive information.
Job Responsibility:
Support the interactive process for employee accommodation and workplace modification requests, including related to disability, religion, and other qualified reasons
Partner with employees, leaders, and HR stakeholders to gather information, facilitate discussions, and help identify appropriate accommodations
Provide guidance, coordination, and follow-up to ensure timely and consistent handling of accommodation requests
Assist with case management, documentation, tracking, and assignment of investigation, accommodation, and other ER-related matters
Perform additional related tasks as needed to support team and organizational priorities including help with training decks, ER templates, etc
Be the first POC, contact employee, determine if the request qualifies
Ensure cases are logged
Assist and support projects, reporting, tracking and maintaining accurate information
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree, HR, Psych, Business, related
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR regulations, including the ADA, Title VII, and FMLA
Prior experience supporting or administering the reasonable accommodation process
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
Professional judgment and sensitivity when handling confidential and complex employee matters
