Job Description:

This role is vital to delivering our Employee Relations advisory service in a fast-paced environment. Expect a continuous demand for support, requiring you to respond quickly and effectively. Your credibility and influence will be essential in navigating complex situations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver exceptional Employee Relations Advisory services with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Advise managers on policy, HR best practises, and legislation for complex people management issues
  • Partner with managers through coaching to resolve casework professionally and timely
  • Minimise risks associated with casework by collaborating with ER Specialists and external lawyers
  • Prepare case and tribunal documentation as required
  • Facilitate managerial training modules on best practises in Employee Relations
  • Stay updated with HR legislation and assist in policy reviews
  • Utilise HR information systems to manage data accurately and efficiently
  • Build strong relationships with managers and colleagues across all levels
  • Manage a varied workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • Support the development of ER advisors by providing exposure to complex cases
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Substantial knowledge of employment law and ER issues
  • Experience working autonomously in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience in a shared services environment
  • Background in multi-site, high-volume commercial business
  • Articulate in verbal and written communication
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational abilities with prioritisation skills
  • Capable of handling challenging situations effectively
  • Highly computer literate
