As the Employee Relations Manager, you will play a pivotal role within Haringey Council’s Employee Relations team, which manages a high volume of complex cases including sickness, disciplinary, capability, and grievances. You will be a strong people manager, able to inspire and lead the team towards high performance and maximum efficiency. With proven experience in handling Employment Tribunal claims and high‑risk cases, you will bring the ability to assess and manage organisational risk effectively. You will also be adept at analysing case data, identifying trends, and providing insightful reports and recommendations to help the organisation address challenges and continuously improve.

Requirements:
Extensive experience of case management within a Local Government Authority
Ability to navigate complex employee relations issues confidently and effectively
Exceptional people management skills
Resilience
Ability to assess and manage risk in relation to ER cases
Confident in communicating with employees, peers, managers, and senior leaders
Highly organised and self‑managed
Strong leadership and the capacity to work under pressure
Skilled in analysing data, identifying trends, and making evidence‑based recommendations
