Hannah Savage with Robert Half is working with a well-established, mission-driven organization who is seeking an Employee Relations Lead to play a key role in supporting leaders, strengthening engagement, and mitigating risk across the workforce. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you’ll partner closely with leadership and legal counsel while influencing policies, processes, and organizational outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, resolving workplace concerns including conflicts, grievances, and policy-related issues
  • Lead the full performance management lifecycle, including reviews, coaching strategies, corrective action, and improvement plans
  • Conduct and manage complex workplace investigations, escalating appropriately and ensuring thorough documentation
  • Oversee EEOC and state-level claims in collaboration with legal and senior HR leadership
  • Support and enhance equal employment opportunity and affirmative action initiatives
  • Analyze employee relations data and trends, recommending proactive strategies to improve retention and reduce risk
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Facilitate exit interviews and provide actionable insights to leadership teams
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements, including audit support activities
  • Participate in workplace safety initiatives and investigate worksite incidents
  • Contribute to leadership development and training programs

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations
  • Proven experience leading investigations, handling compliance matters and performance management processes
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, including EEO, affirmative action, and state/federal regulations
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • HRIS experience and comfort managing job structures and documentation
