We are looking for a Employee Relations Business Partner to join us in our London office. The Employee Relations Business Partner will lead complex employee relations activity across their region, partnering closely with operational leaders to drive consistency, reduce risk and improve management capability. This role will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Lomond’s operating businesses, supporting a high-growth and acquisitive organisation through organisational change, cultural integration and operational transformation. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage complex employee relations cases across the region, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, capability, restructures, TUPE and settlement agreements, ensuring commercially sound and legally compliant outcomes
  • Partner closely with senior operational leaders to provide strategic ER support, influence decision-making and drive consistent, risk-aware people solutions across multiple brands
  • Act as escalation point for high-risk and sensitive cases, including Employment Tribunal preparation and liaison with external legal counsel
  • Analyse ER data and trends to identify risks, inform decision-making and deliver actionable insights to regional leadership teams
  • Drive manager capability through coaching and delivery of training on key ER topics, improving consistency, confidence and overall people management standards
  • Support organisational change and M&A activity, ensuring effective consultation, smooth integration and alignment of people practices and culture
  • Develop and maintain ER frameworks, policies and governance processes to ensure consistency, compliance and best practice across the business
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate with HR, TA, Payroll and Operations to manage ER impacts and support wider business objectives

Requirements

  • Strong background in Employee Relations within complex, fast-paced environments, with in-depth knowledge of UK employment law
  • Proven ability to manage high-risk cases and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and multi-brand or acquisitive environments (desirable)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous settings
  • CIPD Level 5 (preferred)
