As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Employee Relations (ER) Business Partner to join our dynamic HR team and drive proactive, fair, and effective employee relations practices across the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence, and conflict resolution
  • Lead or support complex casework and investigations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and employment legislation
  • Coach and support line managers to handle ER matters confidently and effectively
  • Monitor ER trends, identify risks, and develop proactive interventions to reduce ER issues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support change management initiatives, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE processes
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and ensure best practices are followed
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment across the function

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a dedicated Employee Relations or HR Business Partner role in the health and social care/education sector
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law (or relevant regional law)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience) preferred
