The Employee Relations Associate Analyst is an entry-level role responsible for providing case management support through all phases of Employee Relations investigations, under the supervision of a lead and in coordination with the Employee Relations team. The role involves tracking and reporting ethics concerns, conducting investigations, partnering with internal stakeholders, and supporting the design and delivery of training initiatives. The position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, discretion, and multitasking abilities.
Job Responsibility:
Tracks and reports HR related ethics concerns raised through the hotline
interfaces with the Ethics Office and regional partners to ensure timely and thorough investigation and resolution of issues
participates in initiatives and exams involving the governance of investigations and complaint management
conducts investigations as needed
responds to workplace concerns on behalf of senior management
works with the Employment Law team in the investigation of and response to agency charges and litigation
partners with internal stakeholders on investigations of employee misconduct
provides guidance and review of restructuring initiatives
assists in the design and delivery of training initiatives for HR
assists with the interpretation and application of HR policy and practices in all phases of employment
enters new cases and updates status on existing investigations in the case management database
gathers and analyzes relevant data for investigations
participates in investigative interviews with employees
assists with final investigative report writing
works closely with Employee Relations team members on reporting
coordinates and participates in Disciplinary Panel meetings
participates in project work as needed.
Requirements:
2-5 years relevant experience
experience in investigation support or related work
proven work ethic and ability to self-start
exceptional organizational skills
ability to analyze and draw conclusions from data
ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments with strong attention to detail
ability to work independently and in a team environment
strong written and verbal communication skills
sound judgment and discretion with respect to handling sensitive/highly confidential information
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database entry skills a must
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
