The Employee Relations Associate Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for providing case management support throughout all phases of Employee Relations investigations. This role reports to an Employee Relations Senior Manager and operates in close coordination with a group of Employee Relations investigators. The overall objective of this role is to support the effective resolution of employee issues while contributing to the development and implementation of workplace policies, programs and enhancements that promote a positive and compliant work environment.
Job Responsibility
Create and maintain investigative case files, ensuring all relevant documentation and data are accurately captured and organized within the case management system (e.g., CMS)
Support all phases of Employee Relations investigations, including intake, planning, fact-finding, and case closure
Develop foundational investigation skills through participation in interviews and case analysis
Contribute to investigation planning, including identifying key witnesses and evidence sources
Demonstrate curiosity and sound judgment in reviewing sensitive employee matters
Gather and analyze data, which may include emails, compensation, performance management, diversity, and staffing information, relevant to an investigation
Participate in and take notes during investigative interviews with employees
Assist with final investigative report writing
Work closely with and assist Employee Relations team members responsible for reporting on portfolio of work
Apply company policy and ER standards consistently
Escalate risks appropriately and in a timely manner
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Collaborate with HR and HR Legal to systematically review case documentation and investigative findings to support the completion of Enhanced Reviews, ensuring adherence to internal standards
Contribute to projects and initiatives aimed at improving Employee Relations processes, tools, and employee experience
Requirements
2-5 years relevant experience
Fully proficient in English
Experience supporting investigations, case management, or handling sensitive employee matters preferred
Proven work ethic and self-starter
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and draw sound, fact-based conclusions
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound judgment and ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information with discretion and objectivity
Strong documentation and note-taking skills with the ability to accurately capture and summarize information
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database entry skills a must
