Job Responsibility:
Support managers to conduct thorough investigations into colleague grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring a fair and impartial process
Provide expert advice on a wide range of employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions and grievance procedures
Maintain accurate records of investigations, meetings and outcomes in line with Citizen policies and legal requirements
Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to develop, review and implement employee relations policies and procedures aligned with best practice
Deliver training to managers on employee relations topics, including conflict resolution and effective communication
Monitor and report on employee relations trends, providing insight and recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
Associate CIPD Membership – Level 5 or equivalent
Strong working knowledge of employment law and its practical application
Prior experience of providing expert HR advice, anticipating issues, and outlining options for resolution
Experience managing complex employment issues such as disciplinary, performance, welfare and absence cases
Competent in Excel, Word and databases
Proven track record of delivering a full range of HR services within a customer-focused environment
Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use
