As our experienced Employee Relations Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for managers, providing expert guidance and support on all ER matters. You'll ensure cases are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in line with our values.
Job Responsibility:
ER Case Management: Advise managers, handle investigations, disciplinaries, and appeals, ensuring timely resolution
Policy & Compliance: Embed HR policies, provide advice on employment law, and maintain accurate records
Manager Coaching: Upskill managers in HR policy application
Absence & Flexible Working: Manage caseloads related to short-term absence, probation, and flexible working
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collate and analyse people data, including absence rates and ER trends
HR Toolkits & Resources: Assist in drafting ER toolkits, manager guidance, and policy updates
Administration: Oversee Sage People administration and generate HR reports
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience providing HR advice in a fast-paced environment
Expert Communication both written and verbal
Technology Confident working with HR Systems and IT packages
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Effective communication style to effectively collaborate with people at all levels
ER Expertise knowledge of ER processes and policies
Strong knowledge of employment law
Ability to influence stakeholders up to senior leadership
Advantageous if you have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management
Nice to have:
Experience with SAGE HR is advantageous
