Job Description:

As our experienced Employee Relations Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for managers, providing expert guidance and support on all ER matters. You'll ensure cases are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in line with our values.

Job Responsibility:

  • ER Case Management: Advise managers, handle investigations, disciplinaries, and appeals, ensuring timely resolution
  • Policy & Compliance: Embed HR policies, provide advice on employment law, and maintain accurate records
  • Manager Coaching: Upskill managers in HR policy application
  • Absence & Flexible Working: Manage caseloads related to short-term absence, probation, and flexible working
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collate and analyse people data, including absence rates and ER trends
  • HR Toolkits & Resources: Assist in drafting ER toolkits, manager guidance, and policy updates
  • Administration: Oversee Sage People administration and generate HR reports

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience providing HR advice in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert Communication both written and verbal
  • Technology Confident working with HR Systems and IT packages
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Effective communication style to effectively collaborate with people at all levels
  • ER Expertise knowledge of ER processes and policies
  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to influence stakeholders up to senior leadership
  • Advantageous if you have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAGE HR is advantageous
