We're looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our well-established and expanding HR team based at our headquarters in Halesowen. The purpose of this role is to support the branch network with advice and guidance on ER matters in line with company policy.
Job Responsibility:
Lead on ER cases and provide specialist employee relations, employment law and change management advice
Support the branch network with advice and guidance on ER matters
Proactively oversee employee relations activities and provide support to managers on people issues including performance management, complex cases, absence management, hearings and appeals
Manage case documentation/bundle preparation
Develop and update HR policies
Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures and collaborate to drive continuous improvement
Provide support to business projects on consultation and TUPE
Create, educate and roll out HR training programme(s) to managers
Ongoing development of best practice Employee Relations
Utilise data to proactively identify ER trends
Requirements:
CIPD Level 3 qualification
Understanding of TUPE
Experience handling casework
Knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work on own initiative
UK driver's licence (travel required)
Ideally available to start at short notice
