Job Description:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a College in Dagenham for 2 Employability Tutors to deliver Level 1 Employability programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Employability Tutors seeking short-term, structured delivery blocks within a supportive college setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering engaging and structured Level 1 Employability sessions to learners
  • Supporting learners in developing workplace readiness skills
  • Supporting learners in developing CV writing and job search techniques
  • Supporting learners in developing interview preparation
  • Supporting learners in developing communication and teamwork skills
  • Supporting learners in developing professional behaviours and personal development
  • Confident managing groups
  • Promoting engagement
  • Supporting learners with varying abilities to progress positively

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (mandatory) – e.g. AET, PTTLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent
  • Experience delivering Employability or vocational programmes
  • Experience teaching Level 1 learners
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Fully compliant and available for an immediate start
  • Female tutors required for this cohort
