Job Description:

AES Hobart is seeking a dedicated vet to join our supportive, experienced, and fun team, with great mentoring and opportunities to grow in ECC. Part of Animal Emergency Australia, AES Hobart is a premier emergency veterinary hospital committed to providing exceptional care to pets in their time of need. Our Hobart facility is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a team of experienced veterinarian professionals dedicated to excellence in emergency medicine. We are looking for passionate Emergency Veterinarians to join our experienced team. As part of our veterinary team, you’ll receive both on-the-job and external training to support you in delivering exceptional Emergency and Critical Care. You’ll be backed by a skilled team of vet nurses, specialist-trained client care representatives, and a supportive leadership group dedicated to helping you reach your career goals.

Requirements:

  • Ideally 3+ years graduated with at least 1-2 years of ECC experience (preferably from a referral environment, but all applicants considered)
  • Solid ECC foundational skills and the ability to manage a wide range of emergency cases
  • A Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent), recognised in Australia
  • Current or eligible registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board in Australia
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude with strong communication and client management skills
  • A genuine passion for emergency and critical care and a commitment to patient-first medicine
