Emergency Services Nurse

• Assess patients physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs considering diagnosis, age, care setting, desire for care and response to care plan
• Plan care, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team
• Deliver competent care as required by patient, plan of care, and care setting
• Evaluate patients responses to care
• Provide interactive patient and family education
• Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team and the public

• High School Graduate or GED
• One year of experience as an Emergency Department RN within the last 5 years (exception: when staffing is able to accommodate training management will consider RNs with less experience)
• Registered Nurse: CA
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 Days
