Job Responsibility:
Assess patients physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs considering diagnosis, age, care setting, desire for care and response to care plan
Plan care, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team
Deliver competent care as required by patient, plan of care, and care setting
Evaluate patients responses to care
Provide interactive patient and family education
Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team and the public
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of experience as an Emergency Department RN within the last 5 years
California RN license
Basic Life Support - CPR
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 90 Days
Nice to have:
Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse PNCB, upon hire
