Administer, oversee and document the administration of medications
Assess patient to include physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs
Plan care appropriately based on needs identified during initial and on-going assessments
Provide holistic, comprehensive, and professional nursing care
Prepare patient for discharge and assist with coordinating post discharge needs
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence
Demonstrate competent professional practice and engage in opportunities for professional growth
Document care delivered and patient status utilizing the nursing process
Receive and assure appropriateness, accuracy, timeliness and execution of physician orders
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Registered Nurse: WA
Basic Life Support - CPR
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 60 Days
Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 - months or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 - months
Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months
New graduate or RNs without E.D. or Critical Care experience AND successful completion of the E.D. residency program
Nice to have:
Bachelors Of Science Nursing
One year of related work experience in an acute care setting
Previous E.D. experience current within the last 2 years or Critical care experience, current within the last 2 years
