Job Responsibility

  • Provides field support of respiratory equipment to include air compressors, air sampling, required testing and maintenance and repair of field emergency response equipment
  • This position may also be a member of the Fire, Medical, Rescue, and Spill Response teams
  • Provide spill response and environmental management support to the assigned area
  • Perform safety audits, identify and record hazard analyses of specific jobs
  • Performs site inspections around the assigned facility to ensure areas are free from all environmental and safety risks

Requirements

  • Entry level, typically 0-3 years of experience
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn terminology, applications and standard procedures for performing the job function
  • Perform routine, basic office/field tasks using established procedures
  • Ability to communicate verbally in English
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license

Nice to have

  • Firefighter 1 certification
  • EMT certification
  • Alaska North Slope experience

  • Identifies arrhythmias, deviation in each patient's baseline, signs of patient deterioration, and intervenes to ensure patient safety
