Job Description

Emergency Medicine opportunity in Louisiana starting August and ongoing, working 24hr coverage. Facility: Ochsner St. Mary; 149 hospital beds; 15 ED beds; Annual ED volume: ~28,000; ED acuity: Level 3; EMR: Epic.

Job Responsibility

  • 24-hour physician coverage
  • 16-hour NP/PA coverage

Requirements

  • LA license
  • DEA
  • CSR
  • BC/BE
  • ABEM-certified and participating in MOC, no merit badges required
  • EM board-eligible (non-ABEM): ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required (AHA preferred)
  • ATLS only needed if not ABEM
  • Current flu (in-season)
  • TB within past 12 months or chest X-ray if TB-positive
  • COVID vaccine
