Job Description

Emergency Medicine opening in Tennessee starting August and is ongoing, working 24hr shifts. If not ABEM-certified—ACLS, ATLS, PALS required; NRP required for non-ABEM providers.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from accredited program
  • completion of 3-year residency
  • ECFMG for foreign graduates
  • New grads accepted (EM residency within past 12 months)
  • Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
  • DEA with TN address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5)
  • Must pass specialty board exam (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, or AOA)
  • If not ABEM-certified—ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
  • NRP required for non-ABEM providers
  • MMR & Varicella (2) vaccines or immune titers
  • two-step TB test within past 12 months or recent QuantiFERON
  • CXR if TB positive
  • Case logs for last 2 years and any special procedure training
  • Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME at initial application and every 2 years
