Requirements
MD or DO from accredited program
completion of 3-year residency
ECFMG for foreign graduates
New grads accepted (EM residency within past 12 months)
Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
DEA with TN address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5)
Must pass specialty board exam (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, or AOA)
If not ABEM-certified—ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
NRP required for non-ABEM providers
MMR & Varicella (2) vaccines or immune titers
two-step TB test within past 12 months or recent QuantiFERON
CXR if TB positive
Case logs for last 2 years and any special procedure training
Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME at initial application and every 2 years
