Job Description

Emergency Medicine opening in Port Saint Lucie, Florida covering September 1st, 2026 through June 13th, 2027. Must live 50 miles from site and must be BC/BE in EM only.

Job Responsibility

  • Coverage: AM and PM
  • mix of day & night shifts
  • ED size: 10-11 ER bays
  • Patient volume: 0.5-2 patients/hour
  • Patient mix: Kids & adults
  • mostly Level 3 & 4, occasional Level 2
  • Staffing: 1 other EM provider on shift
  • Support staff: Nurses, Radiology staff
  • ED admission rate: 2-3%

Requirements

  • BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
  • Active FL license
  • Must live >50 miles from site
  • Must be willing to work both day and night shifts
