Job Description:

Located in Laurinburg, North Carolina, Scotland Memorial Hospital is a 152-bed facility treating 45,000 patients annually in its 35 bed ED. EPIC documentation is utilized, and the department is covered with 24 hours of emergency physician coverage and 36 advanced practice clinician hours. Scotland’s ED includes a designated pediatric waiting room to meet the unique needs of young patients and their families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing emergency physician coverage
  • Utilizing EPIC documentation
  • Treating patients in a 35-bed ED

Requirements:

  • ABEM or PC accepted
  • Board certification in relevant specialty (e.g., AAPS EM, ABEM, ABFP, etc.)
  • Medical license in relevant state
  • Specific medical specialty (e.g., Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, etc.)
