Full-time Emergency Medicine APP Opportunity! Baylor Scott & White Emergency Center – Forney is a freestanding emergency department affiliated with Baylor Scott & White Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, TX. The $4 million ED provides convenient, high-quality emergency access to the residents of Forney and the surrounding communities. The ED is equipped to care for a wide range of emergency medicine needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With Primary Stroke Center Certification, the ED in Forney is ready for almost any emergency. Emergency Department: 30,443 annual patient visits; 8-bed ED; 2% admission rate; 2% transfer rate; EPIC EMR; 20 hours of APP coverage weekdays and 12 hours of coverage on weekends.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant or Emergency Nurse Practitioner with at least 1 year of ED experience
  • post-graduation
  • Active Texas License and DEA
  • ACLS, PALS, BLS and ability to obtain ATLS
