IES is seeking an experienced Medical Director. This position would oversee emergency department operations at our Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospitals in Aubrey and Rockwall. Position Highlights: Employment Type: Full-time | W-2; Aubrey annual volume: 9,844; Rockwall annual volume: 12,272; Schedule Options: 12-hour shifts; Full-time, benefit eligible @ 120 hours/month (W2 only); Facility Setup: 16 beds (8 ED + 8 inpatient); Coverage: Primarily Solo coverage; Support Staff: Nurses, ED techs (paramedics), rad techs, and telemedicine hospitalists

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the emergency department
  • Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
  • Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
  • Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
  • Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
  • Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership
