perform initial registration for all patients entering the Emergency Department
monitor cardiac rhythms for patients of all ages
perform a variety of clerical duties to assist with the organization and function of the department
perform a variety of technical skills and procedures to assist the nurse with the delivery of nursing care
interact with all members of the hospital staff, medical staff, patients, family, significant others, and community agencies in providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages

Requirements
Minimum of 6 months experience as a pre-hospital Emergency Technician, EMT in a hospital or Paramedic
High School Graduate or GED
Emergency Medical Technician: CA
AHA Basic Life Support - CPR
