As an Emergency Management Professional, you will provide critical support and strategic expertise in developing, implementing, and coordinating robust preparedness and response plans for all types of emergencies. Every day you will expertly assess risks, develop comprehensive emergency protocols, lead training exercises, and meticulously manage resources and communication during actual events, ensuring the safety and resilience of our community. Job Responsibility:
Provide critical support and strategic expertise in developing, implementing, and coordinating robust preparedness and response plans for all types of emergencies
Expertly assess risks, develop comprehensive emergency protocols, lead training exercises, and meticulously manage resources and communication during actual events, ensuring the safety and resilience of our community
Functions within the scope of practice of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) as defined within state regulations
Demonstrates the ability to perform in an accurate and precise manner in crisis and emergency situations
Demonstrates effective management of rapidly changing situations
Provides patient care and performs patient care procedures, including wound cleansing and dressing, immobilization, and re-assessment of patient condition and status
AEMT may do medical administration under medical direction and IV insertions
Requirements:
Emergency Medical Technician: IA, upon hire or
Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic: IA, upon hire or
Emergency Medical Technician Instructor: IA, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire or
Basic Life Support Instructor, upon hire
