Job Description:

Have you got a passion for fixing and making things better? Are you highly skilled at repairing equipment and improving your surroundings? Travelodge has one of the largest in-house maintenance teams and we are looking for a maintenance expert to help improve our hotels to provide customers an unforgettable experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting hotels in Glasgow
  • Building relationships with Hotel Managers to help maintain properties
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Electrical works
  • External building work
  • Public area works
  • Reactive emergencies

Requirements:

  • Experienced tradesperson with a niche trade skill set
  • Valid UK manual driving licence

  • Proper maintenance and upkeep of guest rooms, guest public areas, meeting rooms, restaurant and lounge
  • Perform job in a safe and efficient manner
  • Participation in preventative maintenance program
  • Respond to maintenance requests generated by staff members and guests in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of company property may include and is not limited to, electrical work, carpentry, painting, plumbing and general maintenance
  • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, meeting rooms, restaurant and lounge
  • Perform duties assigned by Chief Engineer or hotel management staff, including completing tasks submitted by work order
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Report emergency and unusual situations immediately
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and hotel property
