We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Emergency Lighting Maintainer to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. When dealing with customers, client representatives or peers and team members you will be always professional and demonstrate high standards of customer service and care.

Job Responsibility

  • Monthly emergency lighting flick tests
  • Annual emergency lighting drain down tests
  • Minor repair work to emergency lighting
  • Undertake Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs) to the communal emergency lighting systems in Portsmouth City Council’s (PCC) Housing and Corporate Assets stock
  • Support other maintenance contracts as required when demand requires
  • Work in PCC’s property portfolio including Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage and Museums
  • Ensure a high-quality standard of workmanship, health & safety and compliance to the Company’s processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Electrical Foundation Course
  • 2 – 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment
  • Previous emergency lighting experience
