Job Description

Lovelace Medical Group is searching for a BE/BC Emergency General Surgeon to join our practice in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position requires fifteen 12-hour shifts per month (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am), assigned based on surgeons' requests. Must work a combination of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts. APP support is available daily during 7am-7pm shift. The surgeon is to be available for all emergency room and inpatient surgical consults during their shift. Post-op patients are to be followed up with on an outpatient basis at our downtown general surgery OP clinic. The surgeon is scheduled for 1 to 2 OP clinics per month.

Job Responsibility
