Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float/Flex Team, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery while presenting a positive attitude and being reliable. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status
  • also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and patient advocacy
  • Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes. Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner
  • Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies. Evaluates effectiveness of care given by health care team members
  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and providers. Identifies patient/family learning needs and implements appropriate measures, including teach-back
  • Documents patient care and unit activities in a timely, accurate, and concise manner. Demonstrates knowledge of and applies safety principles as identified within the institution

  • Associate Of Nursing and Two years of general RN care experience, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • PALS upon hire
