Emergency Dept Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, working closely with the Emergency Department Physician team
• Respond promptly to calls from the nursing staff, effectively managing changes in patient conditions
• Order and interpret tests and images, and prescribe medications as needed
• Prepare patient discharges, including writing prescriptions, discharge summaries, arranging follow-up appointments, and educating patients and their families
• Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the Emergency Department

• Qualified and licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience in an Emergency Room setting is preferred
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and manage patient care independently
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patient education

Experience in an Emergency Room setting is preferred

15% hourly per diem differential
