Emergency Department Technician

• Performs functions as delegated by the RN according to the Nurse Practice Act and as noted in the following job description for the critical care tech
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient

• One year of healthcare experience (pre-hospital or ED or patient care) preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an EMT-B program required
• IV Therapy Certification required (IV Certification is not required for positions located in Utah)
• BLS (AHA) required
• EKG Certification preferred
• Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

• One year of healthcare experience (pre-hospital or ED or patient care)
• EKG Certification
