Join an outpatient clinic for an exciting emergency and trauma physician opportunity. This locum tenens assignment offers solo emergency room coverage with 12-hour shifts, providing critical care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires North Carolina Medicaid credentialing and PECOS enrollment. Engage with high patient volumes and collaborate with mid-level providers to deliver quality care.

Job Responsibility:

Provide standard solo emergency room coverage
Manage daily patient volume of 90–100 with a focus on quality patient interactions
Deliver care alongside a team of two mid-level providers

Requirements:

Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
Board certification required
Experience with EMR: Meditech 6.1

Nice to have:

Effective communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
