Job Description

As a Tax Manager, you will be playing a key role within Fever's Tax practice, working closely with the Head of Tax and the rest of the team, helping with the tax compliance and tax strategy of the Group. You will be expected to demonstrate ownership, leadership, and proactivity, getting things done in the tax area of a global, high-growth business.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a growing tax team, fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Own and manage the comprehensive tax calendar for both direct and indirect taxes across all relevant jurisdictions
  • Coordinate and review the indirect and direct tax compliance processes
  • Research and analyse specific indirect and direct taxation matters and provide tailored advice
  • Identify risks and potential tax planning opportunities
  • Determine uncertain tax exposures and manage appropriate taxation provisioning
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers as required
  • Work with the Finance & Accounting teams to ensure adequate knowledge and application of taxation laws
  • Support all indirect and direct tax audits / inquiries from tax authorities (alongside third-party providers and local finance teams)
  • Preparation of applications for taxation rulings, tax incentives and tax exemptions where available
  • Provision of advice to senior management on taxation risks and appropriate transaction structures concerning acquisitions
  • Contribute to the improvements and the solutions of tax processes

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant senior experience in taxation gained in practice or industry, with a focus on the EMEA region (including Spain, Portugal, UK, and France)
  • Proven experience managing, mentoring, or leading team members
  • Solid experience establishing and monitoring tax calendars for direct and indirect taxes
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Law, or Tax
  • Finance-oriented mindset with proven tax knowledge across multiple European jurisdictions
  • Proficient Excel user
  • Detail-oriented, organized worker with strong project management skills
  • Fluent English
