Job Description:

Reporting directly to the EMEA President, and in partnership and close collaboration with the GMs, the EMEA Retail Excellence Director leads the global retail excellence strategy to raise retail capabilities and drive operational excellence across Saint Laurent EMEA retail network by ensuring consistent implementation of store operations guidelines, elevate customer experience, and leverage retail performance intelligence for strategic business growth. Oversees a team of Retail Analysis, Retail Operations and Retail Training in EMEA office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Definition and Implementation of Retail Standards: Develop and standardize operational guidelines to ensure excellence in stores
  • Operational Excellence & Standardization: Ensure consistent execution of store operations standards across the global network. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize in-store performance and deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Customer Experience Excellence: Champion the implementation of best practices and systems to elevate the brand experience and reinforce customer-centricity at every touchpoint
  • Strategic Projects & Communication: Act as a trusted advisor to retail leadership, driving alignment between commercial objectives and operational execution to accelerate sustainable business growth across markets. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with regional teams. Communicate and engage relevant teams during organizational changes or recruitment efforts
  • Training & Development: Capability Building & Retail Community Development: Oversee the EMEA retail training function, fostering a culture of learning and performance. Equip store management and sales teams with the skills and capabilities required to exceed commercial targets and to align with the brand’s standards
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Market Intelligence & Retail Analysis: lead retail performance team to deliver deep, data-driven insights
  • Performance Culture & Commercial Agility: Embed a culture of continuous performance dialogue through real-time KPI monitoring, intelligent benchmarking, and proactive performance management. Partner with General Managers to adapt local strategies

Requirements:

  • 10–12 years in Retail Excellence or related functions within luxury or premium retail
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in a global environment
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Proven track record in leading multi-market retail excellence initiatives
