Microsoft Advertising is seeking a world-class Director of EMEA Marketing to drive our strategic presence on the global stage. The Director of EMEA Integrated Marketing plays a pivotal role in shaping Microsoft Advertising’s growth and ensuring that regional and market strategies and activations build the brand and drive revenue. This position involves overseeing the omni-channel marketing strategy for EMEA markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving planning and executional excellence across various channels. In essence, you are focused on achieving Microsoft Advertising’s business objectives through compelling and relevant omni-channel strategy tailored to the specific regional and market needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Be a leader for Microsoft Advertising both inside and outside the company, advocating for the customer and Microsoft values to help our clients and partners succeed.
  • Represent Microsoft Advertising across EMEA as a thought leader and steward of the Microsoft Advertising brand, including speaking at events, engaging with clients and participating in industry associations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to guide the vision for EMEA growth and meet regional and market needs.
  • Build and develop an international team of diverse and talented marketers.
  • Oversees the EMEA strategy and activation to land our global priorities, for all audiences and solution areas to drive measurable growth for the business.
  • Develops deep relationships at the most senior levels with relevant individuals internally and externally that bring unique value propositions to life to and creates opportunities for inspiration, thought leadership and action through both content and activation programs.
  • Creates, executes, measures and evolves annual plans to meet the KPIs of the business by audience type and solution area in collaboration with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Delivers integrated content and communications that deepen engagement and drive measurement growth within priority regions and markets.
  • Supports GTM planning for new narratives, solutions or hero products to all audiences across international markets.
  • Lead omni-channel efforts for international markets including experiential, social media, content marketing, comms, and paid advertising.
  • Creates continuous feedback loops for ongoing learning, content, program and process improvement.
  • Optimize and measure campaign performance by analyzing data and adjusting tactics as needed.
  • Creates surprise-and-delight moments for our audiences.
  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of EMEA integrated marketing managers.
  • Serve as a critical voice in the marketing leadership team.
  • Create scalable operational models that create efficiencies and economies of scale to the Microsoft advertising offering globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND Proven years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND Solid years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND Proven years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven years people management experience.
  • Solid candidates will have proven years of relevant experience as a marketer and/or leader working across markets globally in integrated marketing / marketing communications
